| The UCISA User Support conference is organised by two of UCISA's groups: Teaching, Learning and Information (UCISA-TLIG) and Staff Development (UCISA-SDG). The Conference features a rich and varied programme of keynote speakers, plenary sessions and parallel sessions across number of strands, including learning and teaching, user training, skills development, help desks, web development and staff development. Discussion sessions allow delegates to share experiences on the most challenging issues of the day. Supplier presentations will point to potential solutions. | |

This is really interesting and far more accessible than PRINCE2. Do others have similar systems in their Universities? I'm alread aware of the Bradford method.

Well the conference is about to begin and all seems to be under control, thanks to Steve Gough and the rest of the organising commitee. We even have blue skies and warm sunshine!
A small group of early arrivals met up for an enjoyable evening in Zero Degrees, a brew pub in the centre of Reading, on Monday night. A pot of mussels and frites washed bown by Black Lager and Elderflower beer. Recommended. I hope you all have an enjoyable and productive conference and I look forward to saying hello to as many people as possible during the next three days. Paul Buckley Chair UCISA-TLIG |
